Spindletop Team Named Semi-Finalists in 2025 William & Mary Women’s Stock Pitch Competition

SMU Cox School of Business students earned recognition at the 2025 William & Mary – Raymond A. Mason School of Business Women’s Stock Pitch Competition for their strong performance and preparation. The team, consisting of Katie Heldebrand, Alyssa Coker, Alexis Coker, and Genevieve Mayer, delivered a high-quality pitch on Cheniere Energy, Inc. (NYSE: LNG), a leader in liquefied natural gas production and export. Demonstrating exceptional initiative, the team engaged with Cheniere’s Investor Relations team ahead of the competition to deepen their analysis. Their efforts paid off as they advanced to the second round, placing among the top eight teams out of 22 universities, including three international schools. Judges noted the team’s confident delivery and command of a technically complex equity.
